Blackbutt Shopfront Art Trail

As one of the initiatives under the Blackbutt Arts Strategy 2026, in May 2021 Blackbutt Avocado Festival was awarded $4,242 from the Regional Arts Fund to develop and deliver the Blackbutt Shopfront Art Trail. Through an expressions of interest process, six South Burnett artists were commissioned to create new artworks that were installed across six local businesses and service centres in Blackbutt’s CBD from September-November 2021. A shout out also goes to JS Signs (Nanango) for artwork printing and installation, and Truth Designs (Gayndah) for designing the art trail map.
