Grant Writing Workshops
Seasoned grant writer Olivia Everitt offers 3-hour Grant Writing for the Arts workshops at a beginner-intermediate level. Whether you have no prior grant writing experience or you’re looking to refresh your skills, this foundational workshop is ideal for artists, arts workers, arts organisations, museums, heritage groups, event managers and festival coordinators seeking to understand the nuts and bolts of writing successful grant applications.
Topics covered during these half-day sessions include, but are not limited to:
Overview of government, corporate and philanthropic funding relevant to the arts and cultural sector
Overview of grant terminology and where to find relevant grants
Project planning (e.g. timelines, community engagement, risk management and more)
Budgets (e.g. artist fees, travel allowances and contingencies)
Auspicing, partnerships and support materials such as letters of support
Useful templates and sourcing data and research relevant to your project
By request, Olivia can also tailor grant writing workshops to other sectors, levels of experience and delivery modes (including webinars or hybrid delivery).
