2022 Project & Business Highlights

Each year, I use January as an opportunity to reflect on the year that was and set priorities for the year to come. To kick off 2023, I’d love to share some of my business highlights, client success stories and upcoming opportunities to work together. So - without further ado!

2022 Highlights

If you love data as much as I do (it comes with the territory!), at the end of 2022 I crunched the numbers and over the last five years, I have supported clients to attract over $7.14 million in grant funding and sponsorships. From small grant programs to multi-million dollar regional infrastructure projects, it’s been a privilege to support clients across a broad range of sectors to achieve their funding needs. Other 2022 highlights include, but are not limited to:

  • Completed Master of Business (Arts and Cultural Management) and attended my graduation at Deakin University’s Geelong Waterfront Campus.

  • Recipient of the ‘Creative Woman of the Year Award’ in the Queensland Regional Rural Remote Women’s Network’s 2021 RRR Women’s Awards program.

  • Appointment to the Wide Bay Burnett Fraser Coast Regional Community Forum. You can learn more about the role these forums play across Queensland here. I was thrilled to attend three forums in Bundaberg, Maryborough and Gympie in 2022.

  • Appointment to the Regional Arts Australia National Peer Assessor Pool (2022-23 term) and continuation of my appointment in the Peer Assessor Pool for Australia Council for the Arts (until 2024).

  • Submitted 29 grant applications for individuals and organisations seeking funding for projects and events, big and small. Some outcomes are still pending and I wish my valued clients every success as notifications roll out in the first quarter of 2023!

  • Delivered numerous arts initiatives under the Blackbutt Arts Strategy for the Blackbutt Delights Committee, as part of my role throughout 2021-22 as Arts Officer. From a community and youth theatre workshop program to a bush poetry breakfast, during ‘Year 1’ of the Blackbutt Arts Strategy we delivered outcomes against 14 of the 16 identified strategic actions. If you haven’t seen the Blackbutt Arts Strategy yet, you can download a copy here.
